To proceed with the driver's license application process, the following documents are required:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 2 recent color photos, passport-sized.<\/p>\n

\u2013 A photocopy of your ID card or passport, as well as your residence permit (if required)<\/p>\n

\u2013 Social Security Number<\/p>\n

\u2013 Tax Identification Number (TIN)<\/p>\n

\u2013 Medical certificates from an ophthalmologist and a general practitioner, along with copies of the doctors\u2019 payment receipts<\/p>\n

- Completed Application \u2013 solemn declaration<\/p>\n

\u2013 Application to have a driver's license printed<\/p>\n

Applicants must have their personal TaxisNet codes on hand, as they are required for the online submission of applications and approvals via the gov.gr platform. If there are no active TaxisNet codes, they must first be issued through the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) or a Citizen Service Center (KEP) before the process can begin.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The following fees are required to obtain a driver's license:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Single application for initial issuance feed (any category): costs \u20ac105 (3691)<\/span><\/p>\n

What can I drive with a driver's license:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Passenger vehicles with up to 9 seats, including the driver's seat<\/p>\n

\u2013 Trucks with a gross vehicle weight of up to 3,500 kg<\/p>\n

- Trailer towing capacity of up to 750 kg<\/p>\n

The license is valid for 15 years; after that, it must be renewed.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>

What do I need to know to determine if I am eligible to obtain a driver's license for car and motorcycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

\u2013 Applicants must be at least 17 years old to obtain a car driver\u2019s license and at least 18 years old for an A1 motorcycle license. For an A2 license, applicants must be at least 20 years old, and for an A license, at least 24 years old.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The applicant must have been a legal resident of Greece or have held the status of a student for at least six (6) months in Greece, either continuously or cumulatively, over the past twelve months.<\/p>\n

\u2013 If the applicant is a foreign national, they must have held a residence permit or a work permit for 6 consecutive months prior to submitting the application for a driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

For nationals of EU member states or of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, a certificate of registration as a citizen of an EU member state is required, which must have been issued 95 days prior to submitting the application for a driver\u2019s license, along with photocopies of these documents.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
