\u2013 A photocopy of your ID card or passport and residence permit.<\/p>\n
\u2013 A certificate from an ophthalmologist and a general practitioner, as well as photocopies of the two payment receipts from the doctors (\u20ac10 + \u20ac10).<\/p>\n
\u2013 An official translation of a foreign driver\u2019s license by a lawyer or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the text of the translation does not specify which vehicles the license holder is permitted to drive, a relevant certificate from the competent authority that issued the license must be submitted, along with a translation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a lawyer.<\/p>\n
\u2013 In the latter case, the Consul\u2019s signature must be authenticated by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n
\u2013 A document issued by the authority that issued the driver\u2019s license, containing all the details of the license and its holder, and certifying that the license has not been suspended by any authority in the issuing country due to any criminal conviction. This document must be submitted by the applicant via mail, through the relevant Greek consulate, to the competent Transport Authority, and must be translated as described above.<\/p>\n

Only individuals of Greek descent (omogeneis) coming from countries of the former Soviet Union have the right to conversion, provided they are permanently residing in Greece.
