REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The required documents for a bus driver's license:
– 4 color photos, passport-sized.
– A photocopy of your ID card or passport and residence permit.
– Social Security Number
– A photocopy of your driver’s license.
– A certificate from an ophthalmologist and a general practitioner, as well as photocopies of the two payment receipts from the doctors *(€10 + €10).
- Application form - solemn declaration
– Application to print a driver's license.
*No medical certificates are required if you already hold a valid BE, D1, D, D1E, or DE license.
FEES
The required fees for a bus driver's license:
– Driver’s license renewal fee, costs 60€
– Driver’s License Printing Fee, costs 30€
– Driver’s License Renewal Fee, costs 108,15€
– Theoretical Exam Fee, costs 15€
– Practical Exam Fee. costs 15€
– P.E.I. Theory Exam Fee, costs 20€
– P.E.I. Practical Examination Fee, costs 20€
OVERALL FEES: €268.15 (including P.E.I.) €228.15 (without P.E.I.).
**The €20 public treasury fee is not required for each P.E.I. examination if you fall under one of the exemption categories.

– Driver’s License Printing Fee, costs 30€

DRIVING PRIVILEGES
What can I drive with a bus driver's license:
– Buses, regardless of the number of passengers or the length of the vehicle.
– Vehicles in this category may be towed by a trailer with a maximum authorized mass not exceeding 750 kg.
The license is valid for 5 years; after that, it must be renewed.
REQUIREMENTS
What do I need to know to determine if I am eligible to obtain a bus driver's license:
– Be at least 24 years of age, or at least 21 years of age if they are applying for or hold a certificate of professional competence (P.E.I.) for passenger transport vehicle drivers, issued by an EU member state or by Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein.
– Must not hold a driver’s license issued by another EU member state or by Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein.
– The applicant must have been a legal resident of Greece or have held the status of a student for at least six (6) months in Greece, either continuously or cumulatively, over the past twelve months.
– If the applicant is a foreign national, they must have held a residence permit or a work permit for 6 consecutive months prior to submitting the application for a driver’s license.
– For nationals of EU member states or of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, a certificate of registration as a citizen of an EU member state is required, which must have been issued 95 days prior to submitting the application for a driver’s license, along with photocopies of these documents.
– Must hold a valid Class B, C1, C, or CE driver’s license.
