SPECIAL TAXI LICENSE
First issuance!
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The required documents for special taxi license:
– 5 passport-style photos
– Tax Identification Number (TIN)
– A photocopy of your ID card or passport and residence permit.
– A photocopy of your driver’s license.
- Application form - solemn declaration
– Compulsory education certificate. Specifically:
A) Elementary School Diploma for those born on or before April 2, 1969 (Greek citizens)
B) High school diploma for those born after April 3, 1969 (Greek citizens)
C) For foreign nationals: Certificate of proficiency in Greek at the B1 level (issued by the Hellenic-American Union or the Center for the Greek Language)
– Certificates and proof of payment from physicians: internist, ophthalmologist, neurologist, or psychiatrist.

– Certificates and proof of payment from doctors: internist, ophthalmologist, and psychiatrist.
FEES
The required fees for special taxi license:
– Fee for renewing a special permit: €50
OVERALL FEES: 50€
If six months have passed since the expiration date, the fee is €250; however, if five years have passed since the expiration date, you will have to go through the initial application process again (including resubmitting supporting documents and taking the exams).
