REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The necessary documents required for the conversion of a driving license from Switzerland to a Greek one:
– 4 color photos, passport-sized.
– A photocopy of your ID card or passport and residence permit.
– A certificate from an ophthalmologist and a general practitioner, as well as photocopies of the two payment receipts from the doctors (€10 + €10).
– An official translation of a foreign driver’s license by a lawyer or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. If the text of the translation does not specify which vehicles the license holder is permitted to drive, a relevant certificate from the competent authority that issued the license must be submitted, along with a translation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a lawyer.
– In the latter case, the Consul’s signature must be authenticated by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
– A document issued by the authority that issued the driver’s license, containing all the details of the license and its holder, and certifying that the license has not been suspended by any authority in the issuing country due to any criminal conviction. This document must be submitted by the applicant via mail, through the relevant Greek consulate, to the competent Transport Authority, and must be translated as described above.
– Submission of the valid foreign driver’s license that the applicant wishes to have replaced.

FEES
The required fees for converting a Swiss driver's license to a corresponding Greek one.
– Initial Category Issuance Fee: costs 60€
– Driver’s license printing fee, costs 30€
– Initial issuance stamp duty fee, costs 18€
OVERALL FEES: 108€
In the event that there is more than one driving license category, additional extension fees must be paid, amounting to €27.02 for amateur categories and/or €108.15 for professional categories. We undertake the issuance and payment of all required fees on your behalf for the conversion of your Swiss license into the equivalent Greek license.
Requirement: The applicant entered Greece at least 12 months ago and remained on Greek territory for at least three consecutive months during that 12-month period.
